Z-GUARD Physical Engine Start Control via App
Equipped with “Auto Security” that automatically secures your vehicle when you leave it.
When your smartphone moves out of the Z-GUARD communication range (initial value: within 6 meters), the app icon on the communication-outside screen is replaced with a red frame, and the engine start becomes disabled (engine start lock) so the engine cannot be started.
When your smartphone returns within the Z-GUARD communication range (initial value: within 6 meters), the engine start becomes enabled automatically (engine start unlock).
★Depending on smartphone specifications, prolonged screen lock (screen OFF) and battery saver features may cause Bluetooth connection instability.
In such cases, disabling screen lock or restarting the app and reconnecting may be required.
By pressing the "manual" button highlighted in red, you can switch the vehicle to an engine start disabled state (Engine Lock).
Pressing the "manual" button again will return the vehicle to an engine start enabled state (Engine Start Unlock).
Use this function when your smartphone is near the vehicle.
